“It was great coming to Andrew Murphy’s studio! The quality of service he gave me stood out from the start. He took his time going through all the images with me, giving feedback and helping me figure out what I really liked until I was completely satisfied with what I walked away with.”

About Me
Hey there! I’m Andrew.
I’m a headshot and portrait photographer based in Hopatcong, New Jersey. I work with professionals, actors, and creatives to create clean, natural images that feel honest and confident—photos that actually look like you at your best.
I shoot both in studio and on location, and my approach is simple: keep things relaxed, collaborative, and real. You won’t be left wondering how to pose or what to do—I’ll coach you through every step so we can capture something that feels effortless and true.
Outside of photography, I tutor math, run long distances, and read a lot—usually books on physics, history, or biographies of people who changed the world. I love helping people grow, whether it’s in front of the camera or in the classroom.
If you think we might be a good fit, feel free to reach out! I’d love to hear your story.
